High-bioavailability vitamin D3 for bone, muscle and metabolic balance
This article contains valuable advice to help protect your overall health.
Mechanism of action
Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is an essential micronutrient for proper calcium and phosphorus metabolism, but it also plays a key role in immune, cardiovascular and kidney function.
Vitamin D deficiency is very common, especially in patients with chronic kidney disease, in people with limited sun exposure and in cases of intestinal malabsorption.
SoliD-3 provides highly bioavailable, stable vitamin D3, which helps to:
- Promote intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphorus.
- Maintain bone and muscle balance.
- Reduce PTH levels in patients with a deficiency or altered mineral metabolism (as in CKD).
- Support the immune system and cardiovascular function.
Indications for use
- Vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency.
- Chronic kidney disease with altered calcium-phosphorus metabolism.
- Osteopenia, osteoporosis and bone fragility.
- Increased requirements in older age, in the winter months or with limited sun exposure.
Clinical benefits
- Restores and maintains optimal 25-OH vitamin D levels.
- Contributes to the health of the skeletal and muscular system.
- Improves the calcium-phosphorus-PTH balance.
- Supports immune and cardiovascular function.
- Works effectively alongside specific treatments for chronic kidney disease.
